"Every baby needs a lap."
~Henry Robin

As we are about to close the first month of the year, let me introduce you to our newly born...

1. - One more baby has joined the family!
2. Brazilian Song of the Week – Bola de Meia, Bola de Gude, by 14 Bis!

1. - One more baby has joined the family!

One of the Language Accelerator Program participants told me that "there is too much on my plate", and I have to agree with him.

I've been writing from morning to night to adjust the LAP to every participant's needs, and I am grateful for their patience and support on our first race!

And here's the good news: the old dream of making language learning FREE to everyone is beginning to come true: our new Web site is only one week old, and has already received visitors from 21 countries!

We are counting on Language Guides to help language learners from every corner of the globe.

2. Brazilian Song of the Week – Bola de Meia, Bola de Gude, by 14 Bis!

Have you ever played marbles? Have you ever made a ball with your old socks?

Whenever I listen to this song, I get younger some years! If you want to keep your spirit young, play it time after time - and sing along!

(At the beginning of the song, the group whistles for quite a long time... but it is worth the waiting.)

1.Meu Amigo Charlie Brown

2.Proteção às Borboletas

From your Brazilian Friend who every now and then deserves a new lap,

Charlles Nunes

PS: A little longer at Skype (after receiving a lap...;-) 'charllesnunes' is my name.
