362. hold / segurei, segurou, seguraram; agüentar – agüentei

a. She held the little baby in her arms.
    Ela segurou o bebezinho nos braços.

b. Is this rope strong enough to hold my weight?
    Essa corda é forte o suficiente para agüentar o meu peso?

c. ‘I wanna hold your hand’ is my favorite Beatles’ song.
    ‘I wanna hold your hand’ é minha música dos Beatles favorita.

363. west / oeste

a. America is to the west of Europe.

364. ground / chão, solo, piso

c. ‘The ground’ means ‘the surface of the Earth’.
