You will have access to 7 audio files per week covering Brazilian Portuguese Phrases, Lessons, Pronunciation, Vocabulary, Brazilian Music, Podcasts, and Short Stories. You will also receive a PDF file with all the transcripts.
With these portable resources at hand, you can improve your Portuguese wherever you are. Most important, you will have someone to count on every step of the journey!
How The Portuguese LAP Takes You By The Hand... And Helps You Get There!
The process is simple: from the first week of January (2010) to the last one of March, you are going to receive an email every Friday.
Then, you download the PDF and MP3 files, read the texts, do the exercises, and talk to a Brazilian friend online.
You will be introduced to at least one Brazilian who is learning English. He - or she - will be your Partner throughout the whole Program.
The first week is dedicated to help all the participants get used to Skype capabilities, and to create a Network of Language Learners.
From the 2nd to the 11th week of the course, you will be on a race to learn the Portuguese language. Each week represents a new LAP. You will receive a new password every Friday, download the PDF and MP3 files, and dedicate your attention to one activity per day. Each week will represent a new LAP.
After performing 70 activities, you will have covered all the basics of the Portuguese Language.
The 12th week of the course is dedicated to wrapping up, with emphasis on building a Language Network that will last long after the journey is over.
