Once upon a time there was a little bee called Zazá. She lived in a hive full of bees that spent all day making honey.
But Zazá was different. She loved exploring the forest. She flew through the fields, smelling the flowers and talking to different animals.
The other bees were sad because they wanted her to make honey too.
"Zazá, our destiny is to make honey!" - said one of them.
"I know, I know. I want to help the hive. But I don't want to make honey. I'd rather fly through the fields, smell the flowers and make new friends."
One day, while flying through a garden full of flowers, Zazá found a very beautiful butterfly.
"- Good morning," said Zazá. What is your name?
"- My name is Melissa," said the butterfly. Do you want to play with me?
And so they began a friendship, flying back and forth. Zazá told Melissa that she didn't want to spend her life making honey. Melissa was thoughtful, and then asked:
"- You know, Zazá... if you don't like making honey, why don't you think of another way to help in the hive? There must be something you like to do... each of us has some special talent.”
Zazá remembered that one of her friends helped in the hive making wax. Then, she had an idea:
"- I can help by waxing too!"
"- Great idea", said the butterfly.
Zazá said goodbye to Melissa and soon returned to the hive. Once there, she looked for her little friend and asked if she could help in making wax. Her friend said yes. They worked together, and soon Zazá learned how to make a very good wax.
From that day on, Zazá learned that each bee could help in some way. She helped with the hive in the morning, and in the afternoon she flew throughout the fields and gardens.
Little by little, her friends began to accompany Zazá on her adventures through the fields and gardens. Each of them helped around the hive in a different way, and they all played together too.
Zazá was very happy to help in the hive - and the bees learned that playing together can bring a much happier life.
